I am a clinical dietitian with a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition. During my PhD, I investigated the current status and potential future treatment strategies for patients with an ileostomy, including the development and testing of protein-based rehydration drinks. I have a particular focus on patients with intestinal failure or insufficiency. In my clinical work, I am responsible for the nutritional management of patients with various gastrointestinal diseases.
My research aims to improve nutritional treatment and quality of life for individuals with intestinal failure or insufficiency, inflammatory bowel disease, and related conditions. I am also involved in the development of surveys and dietary assessment tools, including food frequency questionnaires.
