I am the Group Leader of the In-Cell-MR laboratory at the MR Research Centre, Aarhus University, with a background in Molecular Biology and a PhD in Medicine. With over 17 years of research experience, I specialize in translating findings from cellular models to clinical applications. Utilizing hyperpolarized MR methods, my work advances metabolic profiling techniques to enhance diagnostic precision and improve patient outcomes.
My research focuses on developing MR-based techniques for metabolic profiling of cells, biopsies, and biofluids. By employing hyperpolarized 13C MR, I strive to translate findings from cellular models to patient care, uncovering biomolecular patterns that provide insights into disease progression and inform treatment strategies. This approach aims to enhance precision medicine by improving diagnostic accuracy and therapeutic decision-making.
